Our Story
Poke California was founded in 2026 with a simple mission: bring fairness, transparency, and accessibility back to the Pokémon TCG community.
As lifelong fans of the brand that began with Pokémon Red and Blue, Robert has been part of the Pokémon journey since day one. Macy, newer to the hobby, quickly fell in love with the artwork, creativity, and the joy of collecting. Together, we share a genuine passion for the game and the community that surrounds it — along with a little help and supervision from our two shop “assistants,” Xena 🐈⬛ (our grey kitty) and Crybaby 🐈 (our calico).
Why We Started
Like many collectors across California, we experienced firsthand how difficult it has become to find Pokémon TCG products at reasonable retail prices. Limited availability, inflated resale pricing, and inconsistent access have made it harder for fans — especially families and new collectors — to simply enjoy the hobby.
Poke California was created to change that.
Our goal is to become California’s most trusted Pokémon TCG retailer by prioritizing:
